Inpatient Services
Short-term inpatient rehabilitation, also known as subacute rehab, is
for individuals recovering from illnesses, injuries, or surgeries. It
provides a transition between the hospital and home for the patient
who no longer requires the acute care provided by a hospital, but who
is not well enough or strong enough to return home. Rehabilitation is
provided for a wide variety of medical conditions, including
orthopedic, cardiovascular, pulmonary, and post-surgical conditions.
Inpatients attend therapy five to six days per week.
Inpatient accommodations are provided on our 18 bed rehabilitation
wing which is separate from our nursing home. This wing features a
private dining room for rehab patients as well as beautifully
decorated and spacious private and semiprivate rooms with telephone
access and complimentary television.

Outpatient services: Outpatient physical,
occupational, and speech therapies are available in our outpatient clinic
for people of all ages. Common conditions treated include carpal tunnel
syndrome, sports injuries, elbow injuries/surgeries, rotator cuff tears, hand surgeries, ACL injuries,
arthroscopic knee surgeries, lumbar disc disease, joint replacement, lower
back pain, spinal stenosis, stroke rehab, and arthritis. A physician must
determine that therapy is medically necessary and will write a prescription
authorizing treatment. Our outpatient clinic is open from 9:00a.m. to 5:00 p.m.,
Monday through Friday. Most insurances are accepted.
Anodyne Care Center: We now offer Anodyne therapy treatments for our patients. Anodyne Therapy is a light therapy that is effective in improving circulation, sensation, wound healing and fracture healing. It also aids in decreasing swelling and pain. When combined with an individualized therapeutic exercise program, improvements can be seen in balance, coordination and strength.
Our Staff: Our rehabilitation staff are a
very dedicated, highly trained group of licensed Physical Therapists,
Physical Therapist Assistants, Registered Occupational Therapists, Certified
Occupational Therapist Assistants and Speech Therapists. They design
individualized therapies to help each patient regain their highest possible
level of physical ability and independence at a safe, comfortable pace.
