For over 60 years, the Briody family has maintained a reputation for the  highest standards of care for our long-term residents.  To ensure this high level of care, Briody Health Care Facility employs over 160 trained staff members for our 82 residents.

When you walk in our front door, you will find an atmosphere that is pleasant and welcoming with comfortably decorated dining rooms and common areas.  If you visit our Solarium, you will enjoy the melodies from our new grand player piano.  We also have a gift shop that has seasonal gift items and other novelties.  When you stroll through our 2 fully enclosed courtyards, you can relax on a bench and feed the fish in our goldfish pond or sit in the shade under our gazebo and enjoy the flowering perennials and annuals. When you wander past our residents’ rooms, you will find our home is bright, cheerful, and immaculately maintained.  We encourage our residents to decorate their rooms with personal possessions.

At Briody Health Care Facility, we recognize that people who come to live at our facility are individuals who have the right to be treated with compassion, dignity, and respect.   We also recognize that when our residents participate in meaningful activities and are as independent as possible they are better able to maintain their health.  Family involvement is not only welcomed, it is encouraged. We have a very liberal visitation policy that includes not only small children but pets as well!

Although we encourage independence, our staff is trained to anticipate, understand, and meet each resident’s physical needs in a sensitive and caring way 24 hours a day.   Our medical and therapy staff are highly trained in the special needs of older adults and include Physicians, Registered and Practical Nurses, Certified Nurses Aides, Social Workers, Activity Leaders, Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapists, and a Registered Dietician.
