Welcome to Briody Health Care System's web site. My name is Ann Briody Petock and I am the third generation in the Briody family to oversee our family businesses. Let me introduce you to the health care services we provide to Eastern Niagara County.

Briody Health Care Facility is the oldest family owned and operated nursing facility in Western New York. For over 65 years, my family has provided a highly personalized level of care to all our residents. We are well qualified to meet many special needs including:

Long-Term Nursing Home care,

Short-Term Inpatient Rehabilitation, and

Outpatient Physical & Occupational Therapies.

The newest addition to the Briody Health Care System is Pinegrove Estates, which provides an independent living community for active Seniors. The Pink Glove Dance has spread… to Briody Health Care Facility! The Pink Glove Dance video competition is an annual competition to raise Breast Cancer awareness, www.pinkglovedance.com. It is sponsored by Medline Industries, Inc., a manufacturer of medical exam gloves.

In 2012, more than 120 Briody staff, residents, and community members starred in their own Pink Glove Dance video to help spread the word about breast cancer awareness and prevention. The video, filmed and produced by Briody staff, was submitted to the national competition to determine the best Pink Glove Dance video of 2012. Online voting was open to the public over a span of several weeks.

Although the Briody video did not place in the top three, we were still winners! Everyone who participated had a great time and our residents were thrilled to be able to assist in such a worthy cause. In addidion to spreading the word in the fight against Breast Cancer, we also brought public awareness to an important local initiative - a Breast Cancer Research project being conducted by Dr. Robyn Lally at the University of Buffalo School of Nursing.
